The One-Off Incentive Assistance Handover Ceremony to Tour Guides, Tourism Agencies and Johor State Associations and the Johor Yok Round Launching Ceremony was officiated by YAB Dato 'Haji Hasni bin Mohammad, Menteri Besar of Johor on 26 March 2021 at Rumah Citra Sri Pinang, Benut .
Also present were YB Datuk Onn Hafiz bin Ghazi, Chairman of the Johor State Tourism, Youth and Sports Committee, Tuan Haji Mohd Rafi bin Abdullah, Pontian District Officer, Tuan Haji Suhairi bin Haji Hashim, Johor State Director of Tourism, Puan Magdlane Tuborng Melai, Director of the Ministry Johor State Malaysian Arts and Culture Tourism and Heads of Pontian State and District Departments.
It is hoped that this incentive will provide space and relief to the tourism industry to remain in a strong position to face the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Johor State Government places great emphasis on the tourism sector given the strategic location of Johor and has various potentials for the entry of tourists at the southern entrance of the country.
In the same ceremony, YAB Menteri Besar also officiated the "Yok Round Johor" tourism program. On the same occasion, the YAB Menteri Besar of Johor together with the guest of honor also had time to have a cup of coffee at Waroeng Kopi Pojok 77 which is one of the latest attractions in Benut, Pontian.
