SITE VISIT TO PEKAN NANAS SOLID WASTE TRANSFER STATION DEVELOPMENT PROJECT
A site visit was carried out by the Pontian Municipal Council to the Pekan Nanas solid waste transfer station development project site today. The visit was led by Tuan Mohd. Ezzuddin bin Sanusi, President of Pontian Municipal Council and also accompanied by Encik Hisyamudin bin Amat, Secretary of Pontian Municipal Council; Mr. Krishnan and Mr. Syahrulzaman bin Ibrahim, Members of the Pineapple Town Zone Council; representative of Member of Parliament, representative of JPSPN, representative of SWCORP Johor technical division; as well as representatives of MPPn's internal departments, namely the Public Health Department, the Building Engineering Department and the Town and Landscape Planning Department.
The visit was held following complaints of protest against the project. On this occasion, JPSPN representatives gave a "hands on" explanation to all parties present so that more accurate understanding and information can be channeled.
